The aim of the management service is to relieve the Landlord of the responsibilities and stress that can be involved in letting and managing a property. We do this by the application of a range of professional techniques acquired during our long experience in the management of residential property.

Our management service includes:

  • Valuation and assessment

  • Advertising and viewings at the property

  • Confirmation of the financial status of applicants by reference conducting by Rent4Sure

  • Drawing up and completion of rental agreements, usually assured shorthold tenancies

  • Checking the new tenants in, signing and collection of documents and registration of deposits with the tenancy deposit service

  • Meter readings if required

  • Inventory and photographic records where relevant – see below

  • Provision of the EPC – see below

  • Provision of a Electrical Condition Report

  • Periodic inspection visits

  • Prompt payments of accounts with monthly statements

  • If required, we are also able to instruct established local tradesmen competent in the maintenance of property and systems

Overseas Landlords Specialist Service

(incorporating Management Services)

 

Hobson also manages a number of properties belonging to overseas Landlords and offers services to accommodate overseas clients. We keep all our Landlords up to date on their investment and provide peace of mind. Monthly statements of income and expenditure are emailed to the Landlord and annual statements for tax purposes are made available to the Landlord and their nominated accountant.
